Discovering Our Spiritual DNA

We are unique. Each and every one of us is designed by our Creator to be different. And yet, God views all of us as equal within the body of God through Christ and one of the reasons is due to our spiritual genetic code.

Galations 3:28
"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus."

In the old testament we see the beginning of human existence being created from the image that emanates the spiritual essence of our Holy God.

Genesis 1:27
"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."

God's spiritual DNA carries all of our spiritual genetic information through out our existence. It is non erasable and can not be modified and presents a deeper understanding about the never ending presence of God and why He will never leave us or forsake us. In other words, God is present all of the time not only because He is a loving God who wants to commune with us, but also do to being connected to us on His life giving level through His spiritual DNA that we were created within. It is only when we choose to ignore our Creator by hardening our hearts, closing our ears and eyes about our true spiritual lineage we live a life of disconnect in part and/or in full from our Godly heritage.

Rising up within our understanding regarding the importance of our spiritual connection to God helps us to receive more of the manifestation of God’s presence not only being among us, but dwelling within us. Why within us? Because God dwells within His temple.

Cor. 6:19-20a
“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?"

And to further fortify our spiritual genetic existence, God sends His son;

Cor. 6:19-20b
"For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.”

Why does our body and spirit belong to God? The first reason is because we are an extension of our creator, His image through spiritual genetics which can't be taken apart or divided. The second is due to the sacrificial life of Christ creating another spiritual layer of fortifying our spiritual existence.

From a larger seeing and understanding lens, we begin to see how God ties it all together. From the initial creation of man to the death from the flood and continuance and/or resurrection through Noah, through the Davidic line to Christ with His burial and resurrection; we are the the family of God through Christ though out history and bound together as equal by God's love and His spiritual DNA that resides within us.

My prayer is that all of us will fully surrender ourselves into the hands of our Holy God whose spiritual DNA we carry, so He will be manifested in every area of our lives.
